 Janta Energy is on a mission to bring clean, reliable energy to The Gambia. In January 2020, Janta Energy launched a pilot project in Tintinto, The Gambia whereby a team installed five 330-watt 24-volt solar panels, two 250 amp 12-volt solar batteries, and a 50 amp solar charge controller to power four classrooms and a library at the local school (pictured above).

Kijiji Innovative Sustainable Solutions (K.I.S.S.) works to promote sustainable development in rural Tanzania through education and community activism. Partnering with the Hunt Institute Global Development Lab, K.I.S.S. produced a broader impact report, Building Bridges to Build Connections.
